Acquisition of James Davey and Associates, Inc.

Coming Together to Create One Strong Yuma Consultant to Meet Your Needs.

July 1, 2024 —Douglas J. Nicholls, PE, RLS, founded Core Engineering Group, PLLC (Core) in February 2004. In the years since, he has surrounded himself with talented colleagues and an impressive roster of collaborative firms. This now includes the 2024 acquisition of James Davey and Associates, Inc. (JDA). JDA is a strong Yuma firm, founded in 1992 by James Davey, providing civil engineering, survey, and construction administration services, with special expertise in water supply and wastewater engineering and the planning and design of irrigation systems. James and his staff are joining the existing Core Team establishing Core as a preeminent provider of civil engineering and land surveying services effective today July 1st.
